The Council on Education has organized a task force on young adult ministry. We hope to identify the needs of young adults, to explore the problems and pitfalls of contemporary young adult ministry, and to suggest attainable goals, ranging in scope from the individual congregation to the presbytery as a whole.

Young adults are a group that's easily ignored. After all, we raised them! We taught them what they needed, and if they leave, they'll be back when they have families of their own. Right???

Well, maybe not.   Recent PC(USA) statistics indicate that 65% of those who leave us WON'T return, either to us or to any other denomonation.

How else do young adults fulfill their spiritual needs?
What should we (Presbyterians; Christians; "Organized Religion" ) be doing differently?

WE NEED YOUR HELP FROM THE TRENCHES!

We need to hear from young adults, and those who work with them.
We need to hear from young, single college students, professionals, craftsmen and laborers
We need to hear from young couples, families, and nontraditional families
We need to hear from young adults who worship regularly, as well as those who just don't see the point.

PLEASE TELL US what we are doing WRONG.

PLEASE VENT about what's MISSING that SHOULD be there.
